Bonjour! Thank you all for your wonderful emails! I feel like such a pansy...the second I started reading I started crying. I am in the laundry room with tons of people walking around and I look like a mess! Hahaha I just love you all so much. It is so good to hear that everyone is doing so well. It sounds like summer is going as well as ever. I hope that everyone is getting tan on my behalf, mine is quickly fading!

Some quick housekeeping thoughts...I can receive as many emails as you want to send me. Anyone, including non-family can email me. I can only send email to immediate family. My P-day is Friday so I open my email anywhere from 730-10. You can also get on DearElder.com and send emails. The MTC prints up the emails and puts them in our mailboxes throughout the day and it is all free! If you want to get something to me right away you can use that. I can only email on my P-day.

Now for the exciting things....Medical Training! On Tuesday I had training from 8am to 5pm. I was surprised, there were only two other young sisters serving as medical care specialists. One is going to Argentina and the other is going to Ecuador. They both are licensed and one has been a nurse for the past year at Primary's. Dr. Woolley is the head of Mission Medical and as our training he gave us a 200 page power point off all the things that could go wrong! It was slightly overwhelming but also extremely informative. We aren't going to be as alone as I originally thought. There is always an Area Medical Specialist that we keep in touch with. Everything has to go through the mission president and/or his wife. Really, my responsibilties will be entirely up to him. Sometimes the mission mom wants to take over and other times she will leave everything up to the nurse. One woman said that her friend's daughter just got back and she spent 30 hours a week on medical things on top of her proselyting responsibilties! Kind of crazy. All I know is that I am excited to get out there and find out. They told us a big part of our responsibility will be to be 'PR' people with the Embassy, Pharmasists and Hospitals! Exciting! Definitely need to perfect my French if I am going to have to talk to important people! O, there was also an older woman who is going to FIJI! She had a picture of the Mautzs! They are doing amazing. I can't wait to find out what I am going to be doing. Anyways I have 2 mins, ahhh, I came across Section 15 in the D&C... I know there is NO other place in the world that God could want me right now. I LOVE MISSIONARY WORK and learning to love. It's so funny, I am so aware of my weaknesses but also so aware of how much God loves me and can and will help me make those weaknesses strengths. I LOVE YOU! Soeur Powers
